You need coins for almost everything which you can get only by selling specified items to the merchant which requires hard grinding, this is ridiculous! Even building a farm requires coins! The quests are demanding items that unlock only when you upgrade the settlement, if this is the case why don't you put a quest to upgrade the settlement first!
